Mark Gallegos is a 2017 2B/MIF with a 5-10 180 lb. frame from Huffman, TX who attends Hargrave. Gallegos has a medium build with room to fill out, hits from a spread stance with a high hand set. Small toe tap trigger to start swing, pull approach with occasional hard contact. Hands work well. Lets ball travel and gets extended through ball. Flashed power potential during games and could develop more power with more use of lower half in swing. Defensively, high energy, clean actions to ball, quick transfer and release.
