Alex Reimold is a 2017 3B/RHP, MIF with a 5-11 160 lb. frame from Woodbury, CT who attends Nonnewaug. Medium frame with solid, athletic present build and good projection remaining on frame. Ran a 7.33 seconds 60 yard dash. Hits with high back elbow to start, shows good bat speed with strength through the hitting zone, opens front hip up in stride causing him to be a bit pull-happy, shows solid leverage in swing, high finish with some fluidity in swing, made solid contact on a line and into the air. Fields well in the infield, quick exchange and release, throws were consistently accurate across the diamond to 1B with IF velocity topping at 73 MPH. Pitched as well, hunches over into windup and drives lower half well, medium effort in delivery, FB worked 74-76 with good natural heaviness, flashed SL in mid 60's with solid tilt, threw strikes and got weak contact. Very good student.
