Damian Brown is a 2024 OF/RHP with a 5-9 150 lb. frame from Buford, GA who attends Buford. Recorded a 7.17 second 60-yard dash time. Primary outfielder with a high-waist slender frame and strong lower-half build. Works through the ball on approach with a clean one-hand gather and throws to the bases with carry and accuracy at 85 mph. Athleticism moving around that translates to the mound as a secondary right-handed pitcher. Closed feet set from a stretch position starting point on the third base side of the slab. Short stride getting down the slope with a belt-high lift and long arm 3/4 slot release. Heavy sinking action on the fastball with arm side run at 82 mph (2157 RPM) getting over his front side creating a steep downward angle. Big breaking ball in the low-70s with depth and plus spin at (2528 RPM) that he landed for strikes and swing and miss below the zone. Right-handed hitter with a hanging leg-lift trigger stride and strength through the middle of the field. Uses his leverage and lean strength to whip the barrel through the zone and create bat speed. Good student. Named to the 2022 National Underclass Southeast Showcase Top Prospect List.
