Jaeden Jackson is a 2023 1B/RHP, 3B with a 6-2 252 lb. frame from Dothan, AL who attends George W Long HS. Recorded a 7.80 second 60-yard dash time. Extra large frame with tons of physicality and good athleticism for size. Primary first baseman who worked out from the infield. Short arm stroke with deliberate actions and footwork; arm strength played well from the position. Graded out best from secondary position of righthanded pitcher. Short rocker into a leg lift at the belt. Online, compact arm stroke with a lower arm slot that creates good sink and run on the fastball. Topped out at 83 mph with requisite arm speed and a timing heavy overall delivery. Solid breaking ball and can land it with 11/5 shape and some tilt. Really good feel for the curveball. Flashed a slider too with late breaking 9/4 action. Power sink on the fastball and high potential for a young prospect. Righthanded hitter with a spread open start. Present bat speed with a contact oriented, short swing. Can impact the ball nicely with strength off the barrel; can improve power with more separation and loft to the swing plane. Named to the 2018 Sunshine Southeast Showcase Top Prospect List.
