Peter Belasick is a 2020 2B/RHP/OF with a 5-11 150 lb. frame from Milton, GA who attends Milton HS. Medium, lean frame with room to fill on the build. Ran a 7.66 second 60 yard dash. Primary second baseman, took reps in the infield waiting back on the baseball, fields the baseball with a high gather, shuffles into his release with developing footwork, developing arm strength that will improve with additional ground gained to his intended target. Secondary righthanded pitcher, starts windup with a side step up to a belt high leg lift, coils at balance point and drives off of the rubber with back leg well, stays online to the plate, takes arm back to a compact arm action up to a high ¾ arm slot, fastball is straight and topped out at 76 mph, mixed in a sharp 11-to-5 curveball with some depth. Also took reps in the outfield, athletic actions working cleanly through the baseball, arm works well into release topping out at 77 mph from the outfield. Righthanded hitter, sets up with a closed off stance and a high back elbow, leg lift trigger, hands work directly to the baseball on a downhill plane, developing bat speed currently and young strength that will improve as he matures, worked mostly to the opposite field during batting practice round. Outstanding student.
