Dakota Jordan is a 2022 OF/RHP with a 6-0 215 lb. frame from Canton, MS who attends Jackson Academy. Medium, athletic frame with square shoulders and present physical strength proportioned very well throughout. Fast-twitch, posted a 6.44 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, short and quick steps moving towards the ball, shorter arm action with a quick release from a higher slot, shows one-hop accuracy to the intended base, arm strength will continue to develop. Right-handed hitter, begins with an even base and a high hand set. Easy plus bat speed through the zone, incorporates physical strength well and generates big leverage out front at point of contact. Ball jumps off of the barrel, fast hands, firm line drive contact to the wall in BP, impact tools at the plate. Verbal commitment to Mississippi State. Selected to the 2021 Perfect Game All-American Classic.
