AJ Vigliotti is a 2022 C/1B with a 5-11 195 lb. frame from Staten Island, NY who attends St. Joseph by the Sea. Medium frame with a compact build and strength at present. Ran a 7.22 second 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, worked out behind the dish with good receiving skills showing strength in the wrist out front. Sets up slightly turned and is developing explosiveness up through the ball with some length to the release but getting it there well. Right-handed hitter, sets up slightly open and bent at the knees while pre-loading his hands. Has good bat speed and strength in the swing and will improve results as he finds the barrel at a more consistent rate. Good student.
