Brandon Taylor is a 2016 OF/LHP with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Lawrenceville, GA who attends Brookwood HS. Has a lean build with an athletic frame, plenty of room to fill out physically. Primary infielder who runs well, posted a 7.19 60. From the outfield, had a quick, short arm motion with developing actions. Made accurate throws with velocity reaching up to 78 MPH. At the plate, right handed hitter that starts with a narrow setup and a hand drop trigger. Stayed on ball well, driving the ball to all fields. Bat path was slightly inconsistent going from line drive to uphill plane. Had solid bat speed. Also pitched, short arm action with some movement on the fastball. 1//7 spin on a big breaking curveball. Hides the ball well and throws to contact.
