Lucas Nido is a 2020 MIF/3B/OF with a 6-1 185 lb. frame from Miami, FL who attends ESB Academy. Recorded a 7.42 second 60-yard dash time. Extra large frame with broad shoulders and some present strength throughout. Primary middle infielder with smooth mechanics and natural transitions. Looks good to either side and very good feel for the position. Easy release with a clean arm stroke and good arm strength. Secondary outfielder with throws recorded up to 87 mph. Fields position well with soft hands and a quick transition. Righthanded hitter with high hand set, high back elbow, and a longer swing path. Strength to the backside with fast hands and good barrel control. Carry to both sides of the field with a strong swing that has good impact off the barrel. Good student.
