Drew Baker is a 2024 OF/RHP, 2B with a 6-0 145 lb. frame from Loganville, GA who attends Bethlehem Christian Academy. Recorded a 7.11 second sixty-yard dash time. A primary right-handed outfielder, with a large frame and room to add strength. Paired clean footwork with feel for the glove as present ability to work through the ball well with a clean gather and uphill release present in current actions. Produced accurate throws to bases with carry at 86 mph. Arm strength translated to the infield, with quick funnel and ability to make strong, accurate throws from multiple arm slots with accuracy across the infield at 85 mph. Secondary right-handed pitcher with a high 3/4 release and clean delivery off the first base side of the rubber. Clean arm action stays quick and unrestricted to release. Fastball had heavy arm-side sink, with present ability to locate on both side of the plate. Curveball, changeup secondary offerings with present depth to the curveball and fade to the change up with advanced feel for both. Young pitcher with a projectable build and clean arm action that produces a nice angle with extension out front. Right-handed hitter with a square setup and direct, linear swing path. Bat speed present and pairs nicely with extension out front and present pull side approach. Rhythm and timing in the swing leads to consistent strong contact with balance, patient and sound lower half load. Good student.
