2015 National Underclass Showcase-Main Event
Dominick Rodriguez is a 2018 RHP/MIF with a 5-8 158 lb. frame from Guyton, GA who attends South Effingham High School. Small frame and medium build with room to fill out. Utilized a three quarter arm slot with slight drop and drive in delivery. Short arm action, would improve with additional lower half incorporation. In the field, made accurate throws with a top velocity of 74 across the diamond. At the plate, square stance, hands close to the body with a high back elbow. Showed some bat speed with an inside hand set and opposite field approach. Showed some barrel feel with a contact oriented approach.
