Cole Cummings is a 2017 SS/2B with a 6-1 150 lb. frame from Corona, CA who attends Centennial. Long and lean build with quality physical projection remaining on frame. Hits from straight stance with middle hand set, quiet and simple approach/overall swing mechanics. Shows short swing with quick hands and solid bat speed, hits line drives to all fields, projects well as a hitter. Will grow into more power. Does a good job of going with the pitch and hitting it where it's pitched. Fields out in front with good hands, shows some quickness in footwork and good range to both sides. Feet are always moving and retains athleticism throughout actions. Throws accurately across the diamond with solid arm strength, clocking as high as 76 MPH. Ran a 7.27 60 yard dash. Very good student.
