Brennyn Bell-Bucher is a 2022 RHP/1B with a 6-2 185 lb. frame from Oxford, OH who attends Stephen T. Badin. Large frame with long limbs and a lean build. Frame projects to support additional strength. Primary right handed hitter with a simple side step to medium leg lift delivery. Created some shoulder curl and stayed balanced at gather. Worked to the plate with drop and drive actions. Clean arm circle at take back and released from a three-quarters slot. Fastball came out of hand cleanly creating some run back to arm side in the mid 70's, topped at 76 miles per hour. Curveball had 10/5 shape with looser spin and some sweep to glove side n the mid 60's. Flashed better depth with breaking ball when maintaining arm speed through extension. Displayed solid feel for breaking ball offering with the ability to pitch backwards when needed. Also worked out defensively from the infield showing deliberate footwork while rounding the baseball. Funnels out front and flashed some range to glove side. Released from a lower three-quarters arm slot generating some on line carry to the bag at 74 miles per hour. Right handed hitter with an upright. slightly open stance and simple leg lift trigger. Stays on back side and works to contact with rotational lower half actions. Inside hand path to baseball and employed a line drive barrel plane through extension. Primarily looked to work the baseball to the middle of the field on a line. Tools will continue to develop with maturity and repetition.
