Caleb Broughton is a 2017 SS/2B with a 5-9 155 lb. frame from West Lebanon, NH who attends Lebanon. Medium, athletic frame with slender build throughout body and good room to continue filling out and adding strength. Ran well, posting a 7.15 seconds 60 yard dash time. Hits from wrapped start, hands even out in load, leg lift trigger, shifts well into contact with lower half, swing has natural loft, made consistent solid contact into the air with developing strength and power, hard contact to the middle of the field, quality overall hitting tools. Moves well to the ball defensively in the infield, smooth fielding actions with good hands, quick exchange from glove to hand and quick release, overall clean actions with good footwork, solid arm strength with good accuracy to 1B, IF velocity topped at 75 MPH. Very good student.
