Easton Carmichael is a 2022 C/1B with a 6-1 175 lb. frame from Prosper, TX who attends Prosper. Large, athletic frame with square shoulders and some present strength to frame, additional room to fill throughout, well proportioned. Ran a 6.60 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, sound set up behind the plate, quick out of the crouch and gets tall, quick transfer out of the crouch and does a nice job of working on top of the ball, shows present catch-and-throw skills, carry on throws down to second base. Right-handed hitter, begins with a high hand set and back elbow at the plate; utilizes a small stride moving forward into contact. Hands work well in swing, full swing path through the zone and looks to generate leverage at the point of contact. Occasionally gets around the ball, shows present juice to pull side when squared with solid bat speed through the zone. Excellent student. Verbal commitment to Oklahoma.
