Zach Bedard is a 2019 LHP/1B with a 6-1 190 lb. frame from Hampstead, NH who attends Governor Dummer Academy. Large, broad shouldered build with present strength throughout frame, strong lower half. Ran a 5.52 40-yard dash. Primary lefthanded pitcher, begins delivery with a big side step before moving into a high leg lift up above belt; moving parts to delivery help create deception to the batter. Full arm action through the back, lands slightly closed and works across body from a high three-quarters release point. Fastball topped out at 75 mph, front side opens early at times but worked within the zone well. flashed a feel for a 2-8 shaped curveball, up to 66 mph with the pitch with depth to the bottom of the zone when on top. Good student.
