Craig Schnell is a 2006 OF/3B with a 6'0'', 180 lb. frame from Metairie LA, who attends Jesuit HS. Craig has an good body with an athletic look. He has good footspeed (7.03) and it showed in games with good range. Craig has balanced actions in the outfield with good arm strength and carry on the ball. Craig starts with a wide base and barred arm in his stance. He has a level swing with bat speed. Craig has big power on the inner half and power potential in other parts of the strike zone. Craig swings with leverage and showed hand strength. Craig has a good fundamental base to build from. Craig has a good set of tools to improve greatly at the next level. He is an outstanding student.
