Cameron Reeves is a 2018 RHP/3B, MIF with a 6-3 190 lb. frame from Rock Hill, SC who attends Northwestern High School. Large, athletic frame with broad shoulders and long limbs, projectable build with room to fill throughout moving forward. Primary righthanded pitcher, simple turn moving into delivery, gets tall on back side with a leg lift up to belt; strides on line down the mound with an upright release. Quick arm action through the back getting to a high three-quarters release point. Steady two-seam life to fastball, topped out at 89 mph and shows sink when down in the zone, occasionally gets mistimed with release point. Turns over changeup well up to 78 mph with fading life down in zone. Established breaking ball and showed confidence in landing curveball for strikes up to 72 mph with 12-6 shape; slider stayed shorter in life with tilt up to 74 mph. Shows nice arm strength across the diamond in the infield, comes out well with carry, wide base fielding the ball, shows ability to throw from multiple release points with comfort. Righthanded hitter, begins with a square stance in the box and utilizes a toe tap trigger for timing at the plate. Shows quickness to hands and creates bat speed through the zone, upper body dominant swing with a full swing path; finds the barrel well and able to create contact to all fields.
