Gabriel (Gabe) Howard is a 2020 SS/3B with a 5-10 155 lb. frame from Lilburn, GA who attends Parkview HS. Recorded a 6.75 second 60-yard dash time. Medium athletic frame with some room to fill and twitchy speed. Primary shortstop who fields out in front and bends at the knees when fielding. Clean hands and is light on his feet with athleticism to actions to either side. Arm strength recorded up to 80 mph across the diamond. Righthanded hitter with an inward toe tap trigger into the stride. Good rhythm and balance to the frame with a high hand set and high back elbow. Physicality to the frame and gets on plane nicely. Gap-to-gap approach with a line-drive oriented swing and the hands work very nicely into the swing with a smooth barrel plane. Good student.
