Luis Menendez is a 2018 3B/OF with a 6-1 205 lb. frame from Hialeah, FL who attends Barbara Goleman HS. Recorded a 7.36 second 60-yard dash time. Large frame with broad shoulders and good physicality to the build. Primary third baseman with a quick exchange and traditional third base actions. Gets lower half involved through the throws with arm strength recorded up to 85 mph. Righthanded hitter with a high hand set and a high back elbow. Wide base to start with quick hands and whips the barrel through the zone. Creates leverage through his lower half and can pull the ball effectively. Direct path to contact and has carry on fly balls to all fields. Loud contact created off the barrel with a short leg lift trigger into the shift.
