Stephen Garcia is a 2018 C/3B with a 5-10 200 lb. frame from Hialeah, FL who attends Hialeah HS. Has a large frame, large build, and clear sign of present strength throughout body. From behind the plate, starts with a low set with some flexibility. Displayed clean transfers and receives well, shows footwork through mechanics into release. Made accurate throws with arm strength up to 69 MPH and popped as low as 2.06 seconds. At the plate, right-handed hitter that starts with an open stance. Showed a pull side approach with present strength in swing. Does a nice job of staying inside the baseball and hitting the baseball where it is pitched. Excellent student.
