Blake McRae is a 2019 OF/ with a 6-1 190 lb. frame from Imlay City, MI who attends Romeo. Large frame with good build presently, especially in lower half. Ran 60 yard dash in 6.90 seconds. Hits from open-based stance, back elbow gets high in load, leg lift trigger, shows good smoothness to barrel with good bat speed, pull-oriented approach, generates backspin and gets the barrel out front, showed good power pullside, projectable hitting tools. Worked out in the outfield, showed athleticism through footwork, fields cleanly working through, clocked up to 79 mph on throws with quick release. Named to 2018 Sunshine Northeast Top Prospect List, very good student.
