Reece McWilliams is a 2021 SS/RHP, 2B with a 5-11 160 lb. frame from Little Rock, AR who attends Little Rock Catholic. Medium and skinny frame with room to fill throughout. Ran a 7.01 second 60 yard dash. Primary shortstop who worked out in the infield with a clean funnel out in front, moves to the ball with athletic movements and efficient footwork, exchanges quickly and works around the bag with his throws across, topped out at 79 mph across the diamond. Secondary righthanded pitcher, drop and drive mechanics with a fastball up to 80 mph and armside run to it, curveball has 11-5 shape out of his hand in the low-60s. Righthanded hitter, sets up at the plate with a slightly closed stance, starts his swing with a leg lift trigger to a linear swing path, shows bat speed through the hitting zone with a gap to gap approach and loud contact when barreled. Outstanding student.
