Tucker Horsley is a 2018 C/1B with a 6-0 185 lb. frame from Leesburg, FL who attends Tavares HS. Good size with present strength on the build and room left for additional physical projection. Primary catcher who gains ground well with fluidity to motion. Balanced and throws downhill. Accurate to the correct side of the bag and registered a good pop time at 2.00 seconds. Arm strength plays well from the position with some athleticism as well. Righthanded hitter with a wide base and creates some barrel whip. Flashing good bat speed through the point of extension. Good feel for controlling the barrel of the bat. Works to all fields with the ability to create line drive contact to the opposite field. Short and compact swing path that traveled on a line drive swing plane. Athletic in the box and can create topspin and generate hard hit line drives; top exit velocity of 88 mph. Outstanding student.
