Tyler Hedtkamp is a 2019 SS/2B with a 5-10 145 lb. frame from Arnold, MO who attends St. Pius X HS. Young and slender build, lots of room to get stronger. Very good runner, 6.56 in the sixty. Tends to play tall on defense, second base actions, has a quick release moving through the ball and some arm strength. Right handed hitter, hits from a wide base with a no stride approach and limited lower half use, level to downhill swing plane, keeps his swing simple and short to contact, high contact approach and has a feel for the barrel, repeats his mechanics and timing well.
