Phillipe Roy is a 2019 SS/2B with a 5-11 150 lb. frame from St Louis, MO who attends Chaminade College Prep. Medium, athletic build with square shoulders and long limbs, projectable frame with room to fill throughout. Ran a 7.69 60-yard dash. Primary middle infielder, moves well on feet and rounds the ball well, athletic actions and balance while charging in, attacks the ball, fields ball close to body, higher transfer into a full arm action, gets on top of throws and shows comfort throwing from multiple arm slots. Lefthanded hitter, begins with a high hand set and back elbow in the box, utilizes a leg lift trigger for timing. Shows balance through shift, full swing path through the zone with a linear plane. Shows quickness to hands, occasionally gets to front side early, line drive contact off the barrel when squared and carries well to the opposite field. Good student.
