Chris Hinkle is a 2018 OF/RHP with a 5-8 156 lb. frame from Matthews, NC who attends Weddington HS. Recorded a 7.15 second 60-yard dash. Smaller overall frame with present athleticism that plays well in-game. Primary outfielder with accurate throws from an over the top arm slot. Aggressive actions and attacks the ball to get it out quickly. Compact mechanics and arm strength recorded up to 78 mph. Righthanded hitter with a slightly open frame, high hand set, and a high back elbow. Inside hand path to contact with an inverted toe tap into the stride. Can turn the barrel over and create contact to the pull side. Gets his weight on his backside to start as he shifts through the swing. Good student.
