Spencer Keehan is a 2018 SS/OF with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Arden, NC who attends T C Roberson High School. Medium build and frame, athleticism, and room to continue to fill out physically and add strength. Posted a 6.91 time in the 60 yard dash. Primary shortstop, showed a very quick release, aggressive first step to the ball, threw from a lower slot, and showed developing arm strength. At the plate, started with a high hand set, high back elbow, rigid hand load, and a simple stride to the ball. Line drive swing plane with quickness to hands. Worked well through the ball with a pull side approach. Shifted weight well and will continue to improve with additional strength. Exceptional student.
