Michael Nesper is a 2019 OF/RHP with a 6-3 156 lb. frame from Boulder, CO who attends Boulder. Tall, large frame with long limbs and a lean build. Frame projects to support additional size with strength. Ran a 7.46 sixty-yard dash. Primary outfielder with deliberate footwork while closing to the baseball. Clean actions while working through the baseball with a long arm circle at separation. Released from a high three-quarters slot creating some carry to the bag topping at 75 miles per hour. Right handed hitter with an upright, slightly open stance and reaching front side trigger. Hands work to a slightly lower slot after load and work to contact on a loose, extended path. Primarily worked to the middle of the field on a level plane through extension. Also pitched showing a simple side step delivery. Stays tall on back side at gather and works to the plate with drop and drive actions. Released from a loose three-quarters slot creating some sink and run to arm side in the mid 70's, topped at 77 miles per hour. Also showed a slider offering that had solid spin with occasional tilt to glove side in the upper 60's. Good student as well.
