Danniel Blanchard is a 2019 RHP/3B with a 5-11 150 lb. frame from Redmond, OR who attends Bend HS. Medium athletic build, looks bigger than listed, has some developing present strength. 3/4's arm slot from a cross body delivery, can improve direction to the plate, medium length arm action is clean and loose, has good pace and tempo to his delivery. Mid-70's fastball, topped out at 76 mph, mostly straight, throws to the middle of the plate at present but projects enough command to work locations as he matures as a pitcher. Threw his off speed pitches frequently in warm ups but rarely in to hitters, needs to mix more confidently, curveball had sweeping shape from a lower release point.
