Drew Vannaman is a 2018 OF with a 5-11 150 lb. frame from West Linn, OR who attends West Linn HS. Medium athletic build, lots of room to get stronger. 7.27 runner, moves well in the outfield, young footwork at the ball with choppy steps, long and loose arm action with an over the top release, tends to throw uphill and will need to work down through the cutoff man. Right handed hitter, very spread straight stance, high hand start, does get his weight through to his front side well, swing is long but he creates some bat speed and the ball comes off the barrel well, has hitting tools to develop with additional strength and adjustments. Very good student.
