Joseph Colina is a 2021 RHP/1B, 3B with a 6-2 170 lb. frame from Marietta, GA who attends Harrison. Ran a 7.01 second 60, a primary righthanded pitcher with long, lean, projectable frame with room to fill. On the mound he starts with a small side step tuen into a high leg kick over the belt, showed a short arm action working to a high three-quarters arm slot, does a nice job maintaining his line to the plate with good extension out front, the fastball sat 77-81 mph and was paired with a low 70's curveball that he showed good feel for, did a nice job of keeping it off the barrel with 11-5 shape, tight spin, and better depth in the later innings getting swings and misses. In the infield he displayed decent footwork with a tight upper half, the throws had good carry with accuracy across the diamond. At the plate his lefthanded swing starts with an open stance, showed quickness in the hands with the ability to leverage the ball while transfering his weight well into contact, looks to pull the ball with a swing that translates well to game action with solid barrels. Very good student.
