Will Vergantino is a 2020 SS/2B with a 6-1 198 lb. frame from Lumberton, NJ who attends Rancocas Valley HS. Recorded a 6.93 second 60-yard dash time. Very wiry and strong build with excellent athleticism and some twitch throughout as well. Primary shortstop with soft hands and excellent athleticism through motion. Soft hands and they work well with a quick release on throws across. Righthanded hitter with strong wrists, high hand set, and a high back elbow. Good lift and bat speed to the swing and uses his lower half very well. Consistent leverage to the path. Very quick hands and generates a ton of torque and strength. Power is loud and plays well in game as he went deep during game action. Terrific student. Named to the PG Fall TP National TP List. Verbal commitment to Elon.
