Brock Wilken is a 2020 3B/C/1B with a 6-4 217 lb. frame from Valrico, FL who attends Bloomingdale. The primary catcher is young for the grade and has an ideal frame to build on and ran a 7.04 in the sixty. Behind the plate he shows a consistent transfer and release with above average arm strength, throwing 81-mph and popping a 1.95. On the infield he has soft hands and moves through the ball with a quick release. Comes in on slow rollers well and can throw from different arm angles, its a fit for the hot corner. The right-handed hitter has big bat speed with serious thump off the bat. He was short to the ball and very powerful with his hands, hitting multiple balls over the left field fence. The swing translated to games with a couple hard barrels. Very good student.
