Wyatt Brock is a 2017 RHP with a 5-10 170 lb. frame from Virginia Beach, VA who attends Floyd Kellam HS. Medium, athletic build with broad shoulders, has present strength in frame. Primary righthanded pitcher, good tempo in high leg lift delivery. Medium arm-action, has solid arm speed and works to a high 3/4's arm slot. Fastball up to 79 mph, pitch has arm side run. Shows ability to drive in on the hands of hitter, can be effective pitch when located down in the strike zone. Also flashed feel for curveball in the mid-60s, pitch has some depth and 11/5 break. Also worked out in the infield, showed soft hands, good exchange and solid, quick release. Moved well to the ball and showed good body control, instincts. Right handed hitter. Slight open stance at setup, displayed some feel for the barrel. Able to repeat approach, full swing mechanics and use the middle of the field. Very good student.
