Jeffry Roldan is a 2017 2B/SS with a 5-11 160 lb. frame from Aguada, PR who attends Carlos Beltran Baseball Academy. Medium athletic build, has good present strength with room for more. Left handed hitter, hits from an open stance with a busy hand load and a very high back elbow, has quick hands and creates good bat speed, moves into contact hard and attacks the ball, does a good job of hitting the ball where it's pitched and can drive the ball to the opposite field, quality game at-bats. 6.89 runner, 4.37 home to first base. Smooth defensive player, works through the ball with good footwork and balance, hands are soft and quick, throws well on the move. Solid all around player who has some presence about him. Good student.
