Jordy Perez is a 2016 RHP/ with a 5-11 139 lb. frame from Bronx, NY who attends IN-TECH Academy. Medium frame with lanky, lean frame; body projects to add strength moving forward. Ran 40 yard dash in 5.34 seconds. Upright and linear delivery on the mound, online with short stride, shorter and more compact arm action up to near overtop slot. Leg lift to belt with slight hip coil. Could stand to incorporate lower half more into delivery. Fastball worked 73-77 MPH and topped at 78 MPH; will show some cutting action to glove side. Threw fastball 90% of time and was comfortable working off of it. Curveball flashes tight spin in the mid-60's, also showed changeup with solid velocity differential from fastball and relatively consistent arm speed. Showed ability in spurts to throw strikes. Good student.
