Landon James is a 2025 C/3B with a 6-2 210 lb. frame from Carrollton, OH who attends Carrollton. Strong and athletic frame with present strength throughout in both halves. Ran a 7.12 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, side saddle setup, gains limited ground, quick transfer, accurate arm, gets out of the crouch well, quick release, shorter arm action, solid round behind the dish and projects a good bit. Secondary third baseman, high slot release, high effort thrower, sprayed it a bit, made most of the plays, better suited for the corners and behind the dish, evident arm strength displayed regardless. Right-handed hitter, upright and even base, busy hands pre pitch, present bat speed, inside out closed off swing with current stride and foot strike, raw power in the profile, plenty of components to like in the swing, backside power and impact. Strong prospect with present skills and traits to project on across the board on both sides of the baseball. Very good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
