Duncan Davitt is a 2018 RHP/C/1B with a 6-3 190 lb. frame from Indianola, IA who attends Indianola HS. Nice athletic build, looks the part for the pitching prospect. Balanced delivery with good pace, long and loose arm action with good arm speed and loose whip out front, 3/4's arm slot, medium effort at release. Fastball topped out at 90 mph, mostly straight. Shows good feel for his curveball, comes out of his hand clean and easy with good power and velocity, curveball improved with use, good tight spin and some sharpness. Nice release slot on his change up, still developing feel but the pitch has potential. Starter profile with good athleticism and the chance for three solid pitches, could well have more fastball in there. Good student, signed with Iowa.
