Timothy Wilson is a 2018 OF/ with a 5-11 160 lb. frame from Olive Branch, MS who attends Center Hill. Medium, athletic frame with lean present build and good projection remaining on build. Ran 60 yard dash in 7.33 seconds. Hits from high hand set and relatively quiet pre-pitch set, employs leg lift timing mechanism, shifts well into contact with lower half and creates good hip torque. Line drive swing plane with some lift, high finish after contact, makes solid line drive contact consistently out front. Ball can jump off when timed up properly. Worked out defensively in the outfield. Moves well to the ball with solid footwork and athleticism, fields cleanly out front and moves quickly into throwing mechanics. Very long arm action, creates whippy arm speed and will have more velocity in the future, makes consistently accurate throws to both 3B and home, velocity topped out at 77 MPH. Good student.
