Elijah Wilder is a 2019 RHP/OF with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Maryville, TN who attends Christian Academy Knoxville. Large frame with slender present build; body projects well. Ran 60 yard dash in 7.45 seconds. Primary righthanded pitcher; deep stab through back to initiate arm stroke, large rocker step back into delivery, creates good angle to plate from high three quarters arm slot. Fastball worked 75-79 mph with feel to work to both sides; showed curveball with slurvy shape and some depth along with straight changeup. Did a solid job of pounding the zone. Sets up to hit from even-based stance with inverted knee tap trigger, middle field approach with line drive swing plane, showed ability to get barrel on the ball relatively consistently. Worked out in the outfield, long strides to the ball with balance, fields cleanly though deep between feet, arm strength clocked up to 75 mph. Very good student.
