Dawson Colombatto is a 2018 OF with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Ofallon, MO who attends Fort Zumwalt West HS. Colombatto has a medium build with room to fill out, has broad slopped shoulders. Hits from a square stance, leg lift trigger, line drive swing plane with good extension. Lower half is a bit rotational but does get a weight shift into swing. Has present bat speed and barrel control. Hands worked well to ball. Good balance through out swing and does good job staying on ball and hitting to the opposite field on balls away. Defensively, works through ball well with online throws, has high 3/4 release and stays on top of ball on throws. Short arm circle in back after a clean transfer. Athletic tools to develop. Good Student.
