Keenan Williams is a 2019 C/ with a 5-10 170 lb. frame from Gordonsville, VA who attends Orange County HS. Recorded a 7.40 second 60-yard dash time. Medium frame with some present strength but room to add more to the build. Primary catcher with a very short path to release and good explosion through the throw. Good footwork and accurate throws including an impressive pop time of 1.94 seconds. Quick arm and quick transfers with solid all-around present tools at the position. Righthanded hitter with a high hand set and a high back elbow. Leg lift trigger into shift through contact. Flashed bat speed through the point of extension with mostly middle of the field contact. Lofted swing path and showed leverage to the swing well to the pull side. Deeper hand load with consistent line drive contact. Swings with intent and can impact the ball with good strength through the point of contact. Named to the 2017 Atlantic Coast Underclass Showcase Top Prospect List. Great student.
