Jesse Walter is a 2023 C/1B with a 5-10 175 lb. frame from Marietta, GA who attends Pope. Medium build with some present strength and room for plenty more. 7.81 runner in the sixty. Has some lower half flexibility behind the plate defensively, sets up low and moves well side to side, quick and compact arm action and release on his throws and makes accurate throws with developing arm strength. Right handed hitter, hits from a tall and open stance, has good rhythm and timing getting into his swing and repeats his mechanics well, shows good feel for the barrel with a line drive swing approach, best contact was when he was getting the barrel out and pulling the ball. Young player with good fundamentals who should keep improving. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
