Brock Barger is a 2018 OF/RHP with a 6-0 155 lb. frame from Lakeland, FL who attends Lakeland Senior High School. Medium build with a lean, athletic frame and lots of room to fill out physically. Posted a 7.03 time in the 60 yard dash. Primary outfielder, showed a longer arm action with good arm strength up to 85 mph with sound accuracy to the bag. At the plate, shift and stride towards the plate with initial torque of hips. Quick hands with a linear swing path and good bat speed with inconsistent timing of barrel release. Graded out better as a pitcher, showed a longer arm action with good arm speed and an online delivery. Looser arm with downhill action towards the plate with extension down the mound. Fastball worked 80-82 mph and missed barrels while being around the zone. Also mixed in a curveball with 11/5 shape at 75 mph. Very good student.
