Connor Gregory is a 2021 C/1B with a 5-11 160 lb. frame from Alabaster, AL who attends Thompson. Medium and lean frame with room to fill throughout. Ran a 7.20 second 60 yard dash. Primary catcher, worked out behind the dish with a wide based set crouch, comes through the ball well, compact arm action with a low effort release, developing arm strength that showed some accuracy to the bag, 2.08 second best pop time during drills. Righthanded hitter, sets up at the plate with an open stance and a high hand set, creates a linear swing path through the hitting zone, barrel feel with a pull side approach, could generate some more pop off of the barrel with additional lower half involvement. Outstanding student.
