Eli Robbins is a 2022 RHP/SS, OF with a 6-1 170 lb. frame from Holden, MA who attends Wachusett Regional. Large, athletic frame with square shoulders and a lean, projectable build with room to fill throughout. Ran a 6.93 60-yard dash. Primary righthanded pitcher, begins with a rock step moving into a belt high leg lift; easy arm action through the back and creates extension well out front with a three-quarters release. Looseness to arm, topped out at 81 mph with fastball and creates angle with nice running life to the arm side, locates to both sides. Curveball up to 68 mph, slurve action to it but lands for strikes, nice potential with the offering. Moves well in the infield with short and quick steps, fields the ball out front, taller release, long arm action through the back with extension out front, ball comes out cleanly and works through the ball well. Righthanded hitter, begins with a spread stance and a high hand set and back elbow at the plate; utilizes a leg lift trigger for timing at the plate. Stays through the ball well, short to it through the zone and shows quickness to hands through point of contact, projects well physically. Excellent student.
