Kyle Furst is a 2019 SS/2B, RHP, 3B with a 5-10 150 lb. frame from Pound Ridge, NY who attends Fox Lane. Medium frame with a lean, athletic build. Frame projects for additional strength while maintaining athleticism. Ran a 7.47 sixty-yard dash. Primary shortstop with smooth, athletic footwork while ranging for and surrounding the baseball. Clean funneling glove actions out front and works through exchange with fluidity. Shorter take back at separation and released from a compact three-quarters arm slot. Topped at 77 miles per hour across the infield generating on line carry to the bag. Right handed hitter with an even, balanced stance and large leg lift trigger. Shifts into contact with linear lower half actions. Loose, fluid path to contact with a level plane through extension. Created some lift when working to contact out front. Flashed good feel for the barrel with the ability to work to the middle of the field and to opposite field with ease. Also pitched showing a repeating side step to leg lift delivery. Stays balanced throughout and produced good in line momentum to the plate. Released from a high three-quarter arm slot generating good downward angle through the zone and consistently worked to the bottom quadrants of the zone. Fastball had occasional running action to arm side in the low to mid 70's, topped at 75 miles per hour. Curveball had proper shape with solid depth in the mid to upper 60's. Showed good feel for breaking pitch, consistently filled the zone and flashed the ability to throw in positive and negative counts.
