Gunnar Alm is a 2026 OF/LHP with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from Columbus, NC who attends Polk County. Solid frame to build on with present wiry strength and time to add more physicality. Twitchy actions and ran the 60 yard dash in an impressive 6.62 seconds. Primary position outfielder, getting to the ball in good time and working through it well, holding momentum. Clean gather out front to full inline arm path creating accurate throws with emerging arm strength up to 82 mph back to the infield. Moves well out there and can make a difference with his foot speed. LHH working from an open stance and using a bigger leg lift trigger for timing. Higher handset to start and gets into the slot with strength. Lofted bat path with control and feel for the barrel through impact. Present bat speed and knows how to use the whole field with gap-to-gap approach. Flashed some pull side juice, strong at impact and looks like a hitter from the start. Elite performer in the classroom as well.
