Brooks Barber is a 2021 C/IF with a 6-0 165 lb. frame from Charlotte, NC who attends Mallard Creek. Medium athletic build with plenty of room to get stronger. 7.42 runner in the sixty. Has good athletic quickness behind the plate, gets rid of the ball quickly on his throws and has some carry, looks like he's caught lots in his career and repeats his actions well, has some projection defensively. Right handed hitter, hits under control with a short hands driven swing, simple high contact approach, middle of the field to opposite field approach. Good student.
